Introduction
Once Roadmap is installed, you’re ready to start configuring your store. Our team has already handled the technical setup (including code injection and enabling app blocks), so your next step is to set up your first features and test them in your storefront.
Post-Installation Steps
1. Open Roadmap in Shopify Admin
- Go to Shopify admin → Apps → Roadmap.
- This opens your Roadmap dashboard, where you’ll manage all features.
2. Follow the First-Time Setup Checklist
- Use our First-time setup checklist to configure your key features.
- This will walk you through:
- Setting up your first loyalty rule (points per purchase).
- Creating your first review request.
- Enabling bundles or a gift-with-purchase offer.
- Checking that widgets display correctly in your storefront.
3. Place App Blocks Where You Want Them
- Open the Shopify theme editor.
- Add Roadmap app blocks (e.g. loyalty widget, review section, bundle offer) wherever you’d like them to appear.
- No coding required — just drag and drop in the editor.
4. Test in Your Storefront
- Place a test order to check loyalty earning, subscriptions, or bundles.
- Submit a test review to confirm it displays correctly.
- Confirm discounts and GWPs apply as expected at checkout.
5. Explore Analytics & Integrations
- Open the Analytics dashboard to see how features are performing.
- If you use Klaviyo, connect your Klaviyo integration to start syncing loyalty, review, and subscription data.
Common Questions
- Do I need to edit my theme to use Roadmap?
- No — app blocks let you place widgets without code. Our team already handled any required injections.
- What if I only want to use one feature (like reviews)?
- That’s fine — you can enable only the features you want.
- How soon can I start seeing results?
- Immediately — as soon as you enable your first feature and make it live in your storefront.
