How do I install the app on my Shopify store?

Introduction

Roadmap is installed a little differently from most Shopify apps. To ensure everything works smoothly with your theme and storefront, our team handles the installation and code injection for you. If you’re on a Shopify Core or Advanced plan, you’ll also receive white glove onboarding and setup.

In addition, Roadmap supports Shopify app blocks, which means you (or your store admin) can roll out and customize app block–based features whenever you like — no coding required.

How Installation Works

1. Request installation

  • We’ll confirm your store details and plan level.

1. Our team installs Roadmap
   • We handle the theme code injection required for features like loyalty, reviews, subscriptions, and bundles.
   • If you’re on Shopify Core or Advanced, we’ll also complete a white glove setup to configure initial features for you.
2. You customize with app blocks
   • Roadmap comes with app blocks (Shopify Online Store 2.0 compatible).
   • Your admin can add, move, or remove Roadmap widgets (e.g. review sections, loyalty widgets, bundle offers) directly in the theme editor.
   • App blocks give you full control over placement without editing code.

What You Need to Do Afterwards

• Log into your Shopify admin → Apps → Roadmap to access your dashboard.
• Use the First-time setup checklist
•  to enable key features.
• If you’re comfortable with the theme editor, you can adjust widget placement via app blocks anytime.
