How to set up your display reviews on your product page

Introduction

Roadmap Reviews integrate directly with Shopify’s theme editor. This means you can display reviews on product pages (PDPs) using our app block that inherit your store’s design. Reviews can also include photos and be shared across multiple products if enabled.

Step 1: Add the Reviews Block in Shopify

1. Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Customize.
2. Open the Product Page template you want to edit.
3. Click Add Section → Apps → Roadmap Reviews 2.0.
4. Choose where to place it (commonly below the product description or near the bottom of the PDP).
5. Save changes.

👉 Reviews will now display automatically on all products using that product template if the block is set to be visible.

Step 2: Configure Review Display

Click on the block within the customiser, you can adjust how reviews display:

• Layout → Adjust widths, padding, styles and radius
• Colours & Fonts → Adjust the size and colours of all elements within the review block
• For advanced control, you can apply custom CSS.

• Can I choose where reviews display on the PDP?
  • Yes. Place the Roadmap Reviews block anywhere in the theme editor.
• Do star ratings show outside the PDP?
  • Yes — star ratings can also show in collections, search and above the fold on the PDP. Contact support to implement.
• Do reviews support photos?
  • Yes. Photo uploads are supported and displayed alongside text.
• Can reviews be styled to match my store?
  • Yes. They inherit theme styles automatically, with extra admin style control + CSS options.
