How do I show reviews on my homepage or collection pages?

Introduction

In addition to displaying reviews on product pages (PDPs), Roadmap lets you showcase reviews and star ratings on your homepage and collection pages. This helps build trust earlier in the shopping journey and encourages more clicks into products.

1. Display Reviews on the Homepage

You can showcase reviews on your homepage using Shopify’s theme editor.

Add a Review Section

1. Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Customize.
2. Select your Homepage template.
3. Click Add Section → Apps → Roadmap Reviews.
4. Choose the type of content to display:
   • Review Carousel → Rotating reviews from your store.
   • Recent Reviews Grid → Latest customer feedback.
   • Photo Reviews Highlight → Showcase visual UGC.
5. Position the block where you want it (often near the top or before the footer).
6. Save changes.

2. Show Star Ratings on Collection Pages (Product Cards)

To display star ratings + review counts on product cards in collections or search results, you’ll need to add Roadmap’s code widget to your theme.

How to Add the Widget

1. In Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Edit Code.
2. Find your product card template (commonly product-card.liquid or card-product.liquid).
3. Paste the Roadmap star rating widget code where you want the stars to appear (usually under the product title or price).
4. Save changes.

3. Shared Reviews Across Collections

If you’ve enabled Shared Reviews, grouped products display combined ratings on collection pages.
