Introduction
Yes. Roadmap supports importing reviews from all other review apps so you don’t lose the customer feedback you’ve already collected.
How Review Import Works in Roadmap
- Export your reviews from your existing app or platform (usually as a CSV). Most apps (Judge.me, Yotpo, Loox, etc.) provide a “Download Reviews” or “Export CSV” option.
- Before exporting the sample csv from the Roadmap App, you will need to build your review form setup. See here!
- Once complete, download the sample csv. Roadmap > Reviews > Import > download sample CSV
- Format the data according to Roadmap’s csv template. Roadmap expects fields such as product ID/handle, customer name, review text, rating, and date.
- Upload the CSV into the Roadmap Reviews admin.
- Once uploaded, the reviews will:
- Appear on the correct product/s.
- Count toward your star ratings and review totals.
- Be available for moderation (approve, reply, or share across products).
- Old reviews that don't match current product handles to be allocated to the 'missing products' tab. You can then allocate these reviews to the most appropriate live product handle.
Shared Reviews After Import
- If you’re using Shared Reviews, imported reviews can also be grouped and displayed across multiple products.
- Ideal for subscription refills, variants, seasonal products or products split into multiple SKUs.
Verified vs. Imported Reviews
- Imported reviews will carry verification metadata from the old platform if the 'Verified' column is marked as TRUE in the imported csv.
- All new reviews collected through Roadmap will be verified automatically (via their order ID).
