Collecting reviews works best when you automate requests after purchase. With Roadmap, you can set up review request emails via Klaviyo and on-site review forms that appear on product pages.

This ensures you get more reviews, all from verified buyers.

1. Setting Up Review Request Emails (via Klaviyo)

Roadmap integrates directly with Klaviyo so you can trigger review requests automatically.

Step 1: Connect Klaviyo

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Roadmap → Integrations.
  2. Connect your Klaviyo account.
  3. Roadmap will pass customer ID + order ID to Klaviyo for verification.

Step 2: Build a Review Request Flow in Klaviyo

  1. In Klaviyo, create a new flow:
    • Trigger: Customer places an order.
    • Filter: Delay until order is delivered (commonly 5–10 days).
  2. Add an email step with:
    • Subject line: “How’s your new [Product Name]?”
    • CTA button linking to the Roadmap review form page (unique to the purchased product).
