Introduction
Roadmap makes it easy to filter reviews both on the storefront (for customers) and in the admin dashboard (for merchants). This helps shoppers find the most relevant reviews, and helps admins manage and analyze review content more effectively.
1. Filtering Reviews on the Storefront (Customers)
Customers can filter reviews directly on product pages if you’ve enabled filters in your review settings.
- By Star Rating → Customers can click to view only 5★, 4★, etc.
- By Product → If reviews are shared across products, shoppers can filter by the specific product/variant.
- By Custom Fields → If you’ve added extra fields (e.g., skin type, size fit, concern), shoppers can filter by those values.
👉 Example: On a skincare PDP, a shopper could filter to see 4★+ reviews from customers with “Dry Skin.”
How to Enable Storefront Filters
- Go to Roadmap → Reviews → Settings.
- Toggle Enable Review Filters.
- Choose which filters to display:
- Star rating
- Product (for shared reviews)
- Custom form fields
- Save changes.
2. Filtering Reviews in the Admin (Merchants)
In Roadmap → Reviews → Moderation or All Reviews, you can filter reviews to make moderation and analysis easier.
- By Star Rating → Quickly find low-star reviews to address.
- By Product → Focus on feedback for a specific product or bundle.
- By Status → Filter pending, published, or rejected reviews.
- By Date → View reviews from a specific time range.
👉 This makes it easy to approve/reject in bulk, or identify trends in feedback.
3. Why Filtering Matters
- For Customers → Helps them find reviews most relevant to their needs, improving conversion confidence.
- For Admins → Makes moderation faster and helps identify product-specific insights (e.g., common issues).

- Only if you’ve enabled them in settings.
- Can I hide certain filters?
- Yes — you can choose which filter types to display (ratings, products, custom fields).

- Can I bulk-approve reviews by filter?
