Roadmap Reviews only display when the correct app block or code widget is added and the review is approved (if moderation is required).
1. Check Widget Placement
- On Product Pages (PDPs):
- Make sure the Roadmap Reviews block is added to your product page template in Shopify’s theme editor.
- Without it, reviews won’t display even if they exist.
- On Collection Pages / Product Cards:
- You must paste the review widget code into your product card template (
card-product.liquid
or similar). - Without the snippet, star ratings and counts won’t appear in collections.

2. Confirm Product Assignments
- Reviews are tied to products by their Shopify ID/handle.
- If reviews are imported with the wrong product reference, they won’t appear.

- If auto-publish is disabled, reviews must be manually approved before appearing.

4. Shared Reviews Setup
- If you’re expecting reviews to appear across multiple products, confirm that Shared Reviews groups are set up correctly.

5. Verify Styling & Template Issues
- Some Shopify themes require a dedicated Roadmap review template for correct display.
- If reviews aren’t rendering, the wrong template may be applied.
