Introduction
By default, bundles in Roadmap are created as their own Shopify products with dedicated PDPs, so they’re available to anyone browsing your store. However, you can limit who can see or buy bundles by using Shopify visibility settings, Roadmap eligibility rules, or collection-based merchandising.
Limiting by Products or Collections
Since bundles are native products in Shopify:
- Assign bundles to specific collections → Only show them in curated groups (e.g. “Holiday Deals” collection).
- Remove bundles from general collections/search if you don’t want them widely discoverable.
- Link bundles only from campaign landing pages if you want them “hidden” to everyone else.
👉 Example: Create a “Gift Sets” collection only visible during holidays.
Limiting by Customers
Using Roadmap’s eligibility rules, you can make bundles available only to certain types of customers:
- Logged-in customers only → Require account login.
- VIP / loyalty members → Restrict bundles to specific tiers or rewards groups.
- Previous purchasers → Reward repeat customers with exclusive bundle offers.
- Regional customers → Use market/country targeting to show bundles only in certain regions.
- B2B or wholesale accounts → Restrict bundles to B2B customers via Roadmap’s B2B extensions.
👉 Example: Only logged-in VIP members can buy the “Exclusive Luxe Bundle.”
Advanced: Hidden / Invite-Only Bundles
- Pair Bundles with Tag Library rules for advanced logic.
- Example: Only customers who left a review or spent $200+ unlock a hidden bundle.
- Use Shopify visibility controls (Online Store = Off) to make a bundle PDP private, then link to it in email campaigns.
👉 Perfect for limited-time or secret promotions.
Why Limit Bundles?
- Target loyalty members with exclusive sets.
- Protect margins by only offering discounts to VIPs or logged-in customers.
- Segment by region to localize promotions.
- Seasonal offers — limit bundles to holiday shoppers without affecting the rest of the store.
